BOEHMS FRAKTUR
C. Lancaster artist, Julie Kohler, created the Boehms fraktur that was inspired by a statement made by Frances Asbury at the funeral service of his friend, Martin Boehm, April 5th, 1812.
The colorful illumination and German script are a reproduction of an original piece of fraktur penned in 'Conastogen' (Conestoga) Township in 1763.
Loosely translated from the German, the first sentence conveys the meaning of Psalm 89:1: I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, with my mouth I will make known Thy faithfulness to all generations.
11" x 14" size suitable for framing includes additional 4'x'6' postcard print with history of the fraktur printed on the reverse. $15.00 and for a limited time ships for the special introductory price of $5.00.
Framing which duplicates that found on the original artwork is available, by the artist, at an additional charge. For information please contact Julie Kohler at717-392-2211.
